It’s summertime. The heat is unbearable, the kids are getting wild; it’s time for some grown up fun…with wine!
I’m currently filling my calendar with wine tastings for August and September 🙂 I haven’t been able to devote much time to tastings lately, but have gotten to a place where I can, now! And I’m going to take full advantage of it.
Doing wine tastings is so fun for me; I love teaching people about things in general, but when you add in something like wine, it’s on another level. Whether I do in person or virtual tastings, I leave the event feeling satisfied, buzzed, and in shock that I make a side income doing this.
I think one of my favorite things about being a Wine Guide is all the different kinds of people I meet. I mean, I’ve met like every different type of person.
The “chatty, I know everything”
The “I don’t even drink wine”
The “I wanna do this, too”
The “quiet, introvert”
But they’re all fun to figure out and introduce to wine. It still amazes me how some people think a bottle of wine has to be $100+ in order for it to taste good. Absolutely not.
